New York Appraisal License Renewal Requirements

Appraisal licenses are valid for a two-year period and must be renewed no sooner than six weeks prior to and no later than the expiration date. Per the New York State Board of Real Estate Appraisal , you need to complete at least 28 hours of appraisal continuing education courses, including the 7-hour National USPAP Update Course every two years.
